Our goal: Build a more sustainable, just, and compassionate world. Together.
We built Act for Impact because we saw a gap in the social sector. Nonprofits don't need just strong communications or just exceptional development support.
They need both.
And they need those two roles to work in harmony. Fundraising requires compelling communications, and communications drive partner interest and support. They're completely intertwined.
But making two senior-level hires is costly. Unless you have tons of funding already, it's unlikely to be a real option.
The need is there. We've seen it firsthand. We'd love to help you fill it.

Our story
We met while working at an international NGO. Right away, we discovered a few things.
One, we work really well together. We recognized how rare it is to find such an effective partnership, and we knew we needed to continue working together.
Two, our skill sets complement each other. Ishita has spent over ten years in nonprofit strategy, grant writing, program development, and cross-sector partnerships. Grace's career has spanned two decades in content, communications, and storytelling. Our different experiences create a strong balance.
We've found that our output is more than the sum of those parts. Grace leads on content ideation and execution, with a focus on brand cohesion even as we tailor outreach for diverse audiences across digital channels. Ishita ensures that messaging is grounded in program realities, impact priorities, sector nuance, and a deep understanding of donor psychology. The resulting communications and fundraising initiatives have led to real outcomes. You can see some of our work here.
Lastly, we love working together—and we think that matters. Choosing an agency to work with can be daunting. There are so many out there! We can't promise you the world, but we can promise careful attention, a working relationship founded in positivity and mutual respect, and a deep commitment to your NGO and its outcomes.
